Catalonia’s digital future determinants within Spain

This thesis is looking at analysis of current level of digital transformation in companies from two geographical areas: Catalunya and the rest of Spain. In order to compare data obtained in same way, a concept of simple digital index needed to be designed. This index was calculated and used on companies from both geographical areas, followed by further analysis of individual index determinants.

Bachelor thesis deals with lending to private enterprise by commercial banks in current conditions of Slovak republic and its main focus is the analyzing of various types of loans offered by commercial banks and comparing by comparitive methods for selected criteria. The result is a selection of the most favorable loan for private enterprise engaged in the construction industry.
Comparison of Personal Income tax in the Czech Republic and the Slovakia

The bachelor's thesis deals with comparing the taxation of income of individuals in two selected countries - the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to defining the theoretical foundations of the researched issue, followed by descriptions of the tax systems of both countries and procedures for calculating the taxation of individual income. The analytical part of the thesis includes a comparison of the taxation of selected types of individual income in the form of model examples. The conclusion evaluates the findings achieved through this bachelor's thesis.
Comparation of official energy policies of SR between 1998-2012

The main aim of this bachelor's thesis is analysis of official energy policies of the Slovak Republic in the period of time from 1998 to the presence. The thesis is conducted in the spirit of methods of qualitative research, namely diachronic interpretative comparative study. The primary aim of the thesis is to analyse official strategic documents dealing with the energy policy in the examined time period. The paper deals with two research tasks. First task of the paper is to examine whether there is continuity among individual strategic documents, as well as whether there is continuity among the goals which are set within these documents. In other words, the aim is to find out whether these documents are knit together. The second aim is to find out to what extent where these goals set in strategic documents fulfilled in the reality. In other words, the paper aims to examine whether policies undertaken by the executive of the Slovak republic were in accordance with official energy policies.

Comparison of energy security of the Czech and Slovak republic

The main objective of this thesis is to compare energy security of the Czech and Slovak republic. The comparison is done through the energy mix and the diversification of energy commodities' sources (coil, oil, natural gas, nuclear energy/fuel and renewable sources). The sustainable development and commitments to the European Union are taken into account. The author uses the state documents, The Update of State Energy Concept of CR and The Proposal of Energy Policy of SR, and from foreign and domestic statistical documents. Review of energy sources is done through its part in the energy mix, data about sources in the energy mix, data about sources' homeland occurrence, but also import and about the shorterm trends in their usage. In the theoretical part of the work, the author studies the concept of energy security in two theoretical concepts, liberalism and realism and then studies its polysemic nature.
Comparison of Banská Štiavnica with the Czech town to increase revenue and potential benefits of the Slovak town

This thesis deals with the Slovak town Banská Štiavnica in comparison with the Czech town Český Krumlov. The main objective of this thesis is to find deficiencies of Banská Štiavnica within tourist industry and to propound opportunities for increasing revenue and potential benefits based on the comparison of both towns. The thesis in its first part emphasizes the importance of UNESCO in both analyzed towns, through which the outstanding, universal and cultural-historical value is determined. The second part of this thesis deals with comparison methods and through SWOT analysis the opportunities are defined. On the basis of the defined opportunities there is elaborated project of guided night sightseeing tour in Banská Štiavnica.
